Introduction
What's the deal: My name is Eddy and I'm a fairly recent college grad with close to $50,000 in student loan debt ($48,415.87 if you're keeping score at home). So I'm aiming for broke. That's the goal. Not wealthy, not middle-class. Just broke. Help me get my net worth back to $0, where it belongs.
What's the catch: Donations are capped at $1. I don't want anyone breaking the bank for me, but I do want as many people to help as possible. Let's think of this as a social experiment. How many $1 donations can one poor bastard get? If you're somehow compelled to donate more than once, by all means, please do. The Paypal link is on the right if you want to get started.
What's in it for you: I'm not as greedy as all this would make me seem. 10% of whatever is donated to me, will be donated right back to charity. I would raffle off some money, but unfortunately, online lotteries are illegal. That and I'd rather help support a good cause.
That's about it. I'll keep everyone regularly posted on the progress of donations. Maybe there will be something interesting along the way. Thanks a million (err... 50,000)!
